Microsoft will most likely release a cheaper version of the new Xbox Series X game console under the name Series S. According to photos of a Twitter user who bought a controller for the device.

The Xbox Series X should be on the market at the end of this year, but a person name Zak S. already was able to buy the controller earlier. This seems to confirm the arrival of a budget model of the game console.

Rumours have been buzzing for years about a so-called 'Project Lockhart', which is less powerful and has no disk tray. Thus, users would only be able to download games on the new device. Microsoft has never confirmed development of the console, but the 'S' on the controller packaging indicates that it will actually hit the market. That would fit in with the strategy that the company has also carried out with the Xbox One in recent years.
