KINGMAX Releases a M.2 SATA3 Solid State Drive

The common interface M.2 SSD that made its debut in 2013 has started to enter the application market recently. The major memory manufacturer KINGMAX is now officially announcing the release of a new M.2 SSD product to manufacturers. M.2 SSD (originally known as NGFF) evolved from the Mini PCI-E (PCI Express mini Card) specifications, and supports PCI-E and SATA interfaces simultaneously.

This device covers a wide variety of products and allows great flexibility in connection designs. It also has powerful bandwidth expansion capabilities and is gradually become the main storage equipment of ultra-lightweight mobile computing products.

Lightweight and Compact Advantages

The length specifications currently provided by KINGMAX is 42 and 80, which is commonly known as the 2242 and 2280 specifications. Compared to mSATA, the size of the M.2 SSD 2242 saves up to 55% space size and the 2280 specification can reduce 15% of space usage. In addition, M.2 SATA3 SSD only weighs 5g, making it extremely suitable to be used in ultra-lightweight computing products such as smartphones and tablets etc.

Full-Capacity Application
The M.2 SSD uses high speed MLC flash memory, with a reading speed as high as 540 MB/s and writing speed up to 300 MB/s. The KINGMAX M.2 SSD also includes BCH and ECC error checking and correcting technologies, allowing automatic correction using the memory and avoiding losses due to calculation errors. It also has self-monitoring, analysis and report technology (S.M.A.R.T.) to help you protect important data. KINGMAX uses its professional SSD R&D and manufacturing skills to guard its products rigorously and the M.2 SSD products have a full-capacity design. The 2242 specification current comes in 32/ 64/ 128 GB selections and the 2280 specification has four capacities 32/ 64/ 128/ 256 GB available for selection.

Technical Support and Service
The KINGMAX M.2 SSD passed international certifications including CE, FCC, BSMI and RoHS etc.; the products have passed rigorous reliability tests to ensure the reliability and long-term use of the data. All products have passed advanced and precise compatibility tests before being shipped, ensuring consistent product qualities. Thoughtful and complete after-sale warranty services are also provided for all memory products.
