Issue with Windows 11 shows white as yellow on HDR displays (updated)
Microsoft says that some monitors may not show colors accurately due to a Windows 11 issue. The company is currently working on a solution, but it is not likely to be completed until the end of January.
The difficulties can occur on panels that enable high dynamic range (HDR) (high dynamic range). According to Microsoft, "certain picture editing tools may not display colors correctly on HDR monitors." "This frequently occurs with white hues, which are subsequently displayed as brilliant yellow or another hue."
The magnitude of the problem is uncertain. Microsoft states that not all displays are affected. Additionally, the problem does not affect all image editing apps. Microsoft has stated that it is working on a fix. It is scheduled to arrive by the end of January. A support page with tips has been prepared for anybody experiencing issues with color rendering.
Update: Building 22000.469 of Windows 11 fixes previously discovered issues as a result of a cumulative update with the number KB5008353 installed. It is now being rolled out to all users through the Windows Update service. - Among the most serious issues is the inaccurate display of colors on some screens when High Dynamic Range is activated.

You need to oversaturate and adjust brightness/contrast to compensate, once you got it set to look as good as you got SDR on you desktop while HDR is enabled you shuold be set.
No idea if you can do so with that new Halo game, need to set ingame max nit to 1K.
