Intel Shares 700-Series Chipset Specification Inadvertently

Intel appears to have overlooked removing the details for its next Z790, H770, and B760 chipsets from an updated datasheet that is still available online.

The Z790 chipset would raise PCIe 4.0 lanes from 12 to 20, while dropping PCIe 3.0 lanes by half, from 16 to eight. Intel will also introduce a USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 (20 Gbps) lane. The H770 adds 16 PCIe 4.0 lanes while subtracting 12 PCIe 3.0 lanes. The B760 chipset receives six PCIe 4.0 lanes, increasing its total to 10, but loses half of its PCIe 3.0 lanes, dropping from eight to four.

The Z690 chipset features 10 dedicated USB 3.2 lanes, with the rest enabling PCIe in conjunction with either SATA and/or Gigabit Ethernet on a further 10, and this does not appear to alter with the Z790 chipset.
