Intel i3 Kaby Lake 7350K Processor benchmark

Intel i3 Kaby Lake 7350K Processor benchmark

An Intel Core i3 7350K processor benchmark test has surfaced, yes that is Kaby Lake. This is a hyper-threaded dual-core i3 part that actually is a K model and as such comes with an unlocked multiplier, which is a first.

The processor will get a high base clock of 4.0GHz with a boost up-to 4.2 GHz. The processor is threaded and thus hyper-threads towards 4 threads. The benchmark and info was spotted at oc3d, here's an overview:

"When compared to Geekbench results of the Intel's quad-core, quad-threaded i5 6400 (2.7GHz base/3.3GHz boost) and i5 4670K (3.4GHz base/3.8GHz boost) the i3 7350K seems to offer similar multi-threaded performance and much higher single-threaded CPU performance.  This boost in single threaded performance is due to this CPU's high base and boost clock speeds, with multi-threaded performance being boosted by both the CPU's high clock speeds and hyperthreading capabilities. If this kind of performance can hold true for other CPU heavy applications, the i3 7350K may just the bargain chip that budget gamers will flock to in 2017".

That's quite a nice performance. Especially from a 2C/4T chip!

Intel is really doing its best to bring us such a huge boost in performance with every gen (sarcasm on).

I knew the skylake is a disaster,Now Intel confirms that on bench with this new chip.
That bench is,ofc, with chips on stock.

i5/i7 6xxx vs i5/i7 Haswell? NO way!
Haswell rulles!

Well this is also an i3 chip. Also, when you have little competition there's really no point in Intel investing so much money to bring huge performance increases.
