An Arc Alchemist GPU from  Intel has been sighted. Unlike the Arc A380, the Arc A370M is a mobile graphics card. But it surely seems to man up and is competitive.

The Arc A370M has 128 execution units (EUs). SiSoftware stated 160 EUs, but blended the UHD 770 iGPU's 32 EUs with the Arc A370128 M's EUs. It's unclear whether this is the Arc A370M or the iGPU on the unknown Alder Lake chip utilized in the test platform. The Arc A370M had 4GB of GDDR6 memory on a low 128-bit memory interface. Caution is advised when reading unannounced performance data.

The Arc A370M (through Tum Apisak) achieved 2,399.97 Mpix/s in SiSoftware's GP (GPU) Processing test. In the same benchmark, the Arc A380 achieved 2,956.10 Mpix/s. This is not surprising given that the Arc A380 is a desktop graphics card and the Arc A370M is a mobile graphics card.

The GeForce GTX 1650 Super scored 2,568.82 Mpix/s, outperforming the Arc A370M by only 7%. The AMD equivalent, the Radeon RX 570, is 6% (2,546.56 Mpix/s) quicker.

According to Intel's website, Arc Alchemist was supposed to launch in Q1 of this year. The chipmaker later changed the text to "coming 2022". Hey, additional competition never hurts.
