Inno3D offer a ready-to-use cryptomining system with nine P104-100s
Inno3D started making complete mincing cryptocurrency setups. The company is offered full systems with nine mining cards in it based on faster the P104-100 GPU, aka the GeForce GTX 1070.
The kit holds a motherboard with nine P104-100s at PCIe 1.0 x4 and a. Intel Celeron 3865U tied towards 4GB DDR4-2133. This new machine can manage to 330 MH/sec (ETH) and supersedes its predecessor with an 40% of mining performance. Spread over 9 PCBs the system rules with an incredible 17,280 CUDA cores. In addition, it has been equipped with a total of 10 fans engaging jet-like propulsion to keep the controller chips cooler than ever. The company refuses to relay their pricing for this setup.
“Building a mining farm from scratch becomes super-easy with the need of placing additional cooling fans. Just install the OS and you can go!” said Stanley Wong, VP Sales Worldwide at INNO3D®. “And while this industry is rapidly evolving, we believe that this system has everything in house to meet the challenges and the needs of today’s demanding miner.”

They are not using 1070 cards, they are using striped down versions for mining which are cheaper. AMD 580 isn't even easy to find, and if you do, they are not cheap, especially if you plan to purchase hundreds of thousands of them. I am not even sure that they are available in those quantities at the source.

Fair point.

I'm sure it doesn't stay at that speed all the time. Besides, have you ever been in a server room? Sometimes you need earplugs because the fans are spinning so fast.

Wouldn't it have been cheaper to just use 580s instead? From what I heard, they perform roughly the same for mining. Meanwhile, since this is a very customized setup anyway, they could've modified the BIOSes of the 580s to be pre-overclocked; you can't do that with Pascal products to my knowledge.
