Gigabyte's Z690 Aorus Xtreme Leaks Photos leak as well - has Two PCIe 5.0 x16 Slots

Gigabyte's Z690 Aorus Xtreme Leaks Photos leak as well - has Two PCIe 5.0 x16 Slots

In addition to its unusual slot configuration, the Gigabyte Z690 Aorus Xtreme motherboard has a peculiar cover above the DRAM slots that makes it stand out from the rest of the competition.

The board is largely made of metal or plastic, which gives the impression that it will be tough to assemble, especially if you plan to utilize M.2 SSDs. If the second PCIe 5.0 x16 slot is used, the bandwidth is shared between the two PCIe 5.0 x16 slots, resulting in both being x8 slots, similar to most recent consumer boards. There is a third PCIe x16 slot available, however its bandwidth is currently unclear. It's unclear what the memory cover's purpose is other than to be aesthetically pleasing, but the idea of an integrated LCD screen seems improbable.

Additionally, a Marvell AQC113C 10 Gbps Ethernet controller, a Marvell AQC113C 2.5 Gbps Ethernet controller, and 802.11ax Wi-Fi are included. The board is said to contain one Thunderbolt 4 port as well as three M.2 expansion slots, according to reports. Additionally, a 90 degree angled cutout for a case-mounted USB-C connection, an exclusive ATX power connector, and support for an ESS DAC are all included. A Post 80 debug LED, right-angled front panel connectors, and power and reset buttons round out the final components of the chassis. There's no word on pricing.

600-700€ wouldn't be surprising.
