Gigabyte releases Aorus GeForce GTX 1060 with WindForce 3X Cooler
Gigabyte is revamping one of the product series in their Aorus line with a nice WindForce 3X GeForce cooler. The revision 2 product would be a GeForce GTX 1060.
As you can see it now has been added to the Aorus series and comes with that premium feel. The big cooler certainly will be sufficient for a GTX 1060. The backside reveals a nice back-plate with the copper slab on the rear GPU side of the PCB as well.
- GPU: GeForce GTX 1060
- CUDA number: 1,280 groups
- Core base clock: 1,607MHz / 1,632MHz
- Core Boost clock: 1,835MHz / 1,860MHz
- Memory clock: 8,008MHz
- Video memory: GDDR5 6GB
- Memory bus width: 192bit
- Output Interface: DualLink DVI-D × 1, DisplayPort1.4 × 3, HDMI2.0b × 1
- VGA cooler: WINDFORCE 3X
- Bus Interface: PCI-Express3.0 (x16)
- Auxiliary power supply: 8pin × 1
- Dimensions: 38 × 280 × 111mm
The Base clock for the product is 1,607MHz with a boost to 1,835MHz. The memory is kept reference at 8,008MHz on that 192-bit wide bus. Display outputs wise you'll see DVI-D, and two of each HDMI 2.0b and DisplayPort. The card feeds of an 8-pin power connector. That is a whole lotta card for a 1060 alright.

This video card Rev.2.0, is being sold on Amazon and Newegg a couple of months ago for $289.99, now it cost $329.99, for me it's one of the best GTX 1060 out there.

It's

Though the only change to the specs officially or well the listings between the above models is that version 1.0 came with the GDDR5X high-speed 9 GB/s version and 2.0 appears to have reverted to GDDR5 standard speed for the 1060 again for whatever reason.
A PCB comparison would be needed to tell if there's other differences which I thought was less of a thing these days but it seems it's still around doing things such as stripping down things and re-releasing the product again.
EDIT: Or perhaps I'm just misunderstanding.
(Still it is the same product so if the consumer isn't aware of the differing revisions and product number between the two that could be problematic.)
