Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1070 Ti Aorus with eight HDMI ports spotted

So this rather awkward photos surfaced on the web. It shows an (acclaimed) Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1070 Ti in specific a big fat Aorus edition. Nothing special there, but have a peek at the HDMI  connectors.

So yeah, that’s showing eight connectors. I dunno, it would make no sense to release a card like that as you need at least a big of a mix with DVI/DP in there as not all monitors are just HDMI or DP eh? The photo coming from videocardz is claimed to be the real thing yet the ports would be shopped in there. However the photo would be coming straight from Gigabyte and is portrayed as an official photo.

I dunno man ..

Those look like HDMI ports, not Display Ports...

either way, it is probably fake as this port config makes no sense!

Does the chip even support that many outputs ?
I don't think so.

Looking closer at it, you are totally right, fixing.

That could be done yes, but by splitting signal. E.g. if eight monitors would be driven the connections would max out at 1080p each.

Yeah. Nvidia isn't known for supporting too many displays at the same time. My old 560Ti had three ports but only supported two simultaneously, the third being left dead weight.
