Gigabyte confirmed the existence of not only the new Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 Ti 16GB and RTX 3080 12GB graphics cards, but also the new AMD RX 6500 XT graphics card in a new listing submitted to the European Commission before the EEC.
The names and amounts of VRAM available for the Nvidia models have unfortunately only been confirmed, although previous rumors and segmentation have led us to believe that there will not be too many changes beyond that. When considering the RTX 3070 Ti, it's likely that the VRAM will be doubled while the same number of Cuda Cores will be maintained, whereas when considering the RTX 3080, it's likely that the bus will need to be increased to 384 bits in addition to the VRAM in order to support the additional 12GB of VRAM. Moreover, this increase in memory bus bandwidth will result in a 20 percent increase in overall performance, although it is possible that the same number of Cuda Cores will be maintained in order to maintain segmentation when compared to the RTX 3080 Ti.
On the RX 6500 XT's side, the list confirms that it will have 4GB of memory, which adds credence to the rumors that it may have a bus with only 64 bits of memory and a very low bandwidth due to the fact that it is oriented toward the input range. The addition of at least 6GB of VRAM and a 96-bit bus would have been interesting, even though AMD chose the most basic configuration, possibly to isolate it from the miners, because the hash rate is highly dependent on memory bandwidth, and as such, the lower the amount of memory used, the higher the hash rate. The lower the level of interest shown by miners in maintaining a low price will be its primary strength, as will be the case in the long run.
There are expectations for a release of the RTX 3070 Ti 16GB and RTX 3080 12GB cards maybe even December 17th, with the RX 6500 XT to be announced only at CES 2022 in early January, though given the fact that they were added to this Gigabyte listing, this may be a little later than expected. These listings are usually made when they are less than weeks before their official presentation, it increases the likelihood of rumors about their impending announcement spreading.
