GELID Launches New Phantom Series CPU Coolers

GELID introduced their new Phantom series CPU coolers, they offer two models. The first being the Phantom (CC-Phantom-01-A), featuring a clear chrome finish with all-black fans; the second Phantom Black (CC-Phantom-Black-01-A), featuring a black nickel-plating on the aluminium fins and copper heat pipes.

The Phantom features a proper cooling technologies. The constellation of 7 optimized power heat pipes, the advanced 2-tower heatsink and the 2 silent 120mm fans with Smart PWM all deliver its thermal performance. The support of TDP over 200W makes the Phantom an overkill CPU cooling solution for gamers and overclockers.

  • 7 Mixed-Size Nickel-Plated power heat pipes serve to optimize heat transfer within the heatsink elements.
  • Advanced Twin-Tower Heatsink delivers substantially improved cooling performance.
  • 2 Smart PWM Fans provide efficient air flow distribution over the heatsink and keep silent operation.
  • Triple Fan Option allows a 3rd fan to be installed and skyrockets the cooler performance even more.
  • Enhanced Mounting Kit facilitates installation and broadens CPU support.
  • TDP 200W Support ensures ultra-high performance under CPU overclocking.

Applications:

Looks like some good stuff, almost as beefy as the Noctua D15 ^^

Exactly. The first thing I thought when I saw it was .. it looks just like the noctua. But I will give them the benefit of the doubt, as they do make some VERY good cooling paste.

EDIT
I like the one with the white frame and black fan.
