The next big release from NVIDIA, the GeForce RTX 4060, is rumored to be powered by the new AD106 GPU with Ada Lovelace architecture.

Leaked 3DMark results suggest that the AD106 GPU boasts 4,608 CUDA cores, a clock speed of 2,535 MHz, a 128-bit memory bus, and a power consumption of only 180W. The results below show the comparison between the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti (GA104 GPU) and the GeForce RTX 20 Series (TU104 GPU). The results suggest that the GeForce RTX 4060 will perform similarly to the RTX 3070 Ti but with approximately 27% less power consumption.

Twitter user Harukaze5719 posted the results in a graph. However, it remains unclear which GPU the GeForce RTX 4060 will be competing against as the GA104 GPU is found in models such as the RTX 3060, RTX 3060 Ti, RTX 3070, and RTX 3070 Ti, while the TU104 GPU is used in the RTX 2070 Super, RTX 2080, and RTX 2080 Super cards. Nevertheless, the potential release of the RTX 4060 has sparked excitement for the upcoming graphics card battle between NVIDIA, AMD, and Intel's Arc line. NVIDIA is also expected to utilize its advanced DLSS technology and the new DLSS 3 to sell the RTX 4060, giving it an advantage over the competition.
