A few days ago you have seen Intel Core i7-12700 appearing on Geekbench 5, where it competed and matches the AMD Ryzen 7 5800Xnow the Core i9-12900K has been spotted, the company's flagship processor.



The Intel Core i9-12900K processor, which was used in the benchmarking, is a hybrid design with eight high-performance cores, eight high-efficiency cores, and 24 threads running at a base rate of 3.2 GHz. The test was carried out on a Windows 11 Pro computer, which was capable of making full advantage of Intel Thread Director technology and had 32 GB of DDR5 memory installed.

The processor reached a single-core score of 1834 and 1893 in the two tests, giving it the highest possible score on the official Benchmarks and allowing it to finish 12 percent faster than the Ryzen 9 5950X. The processor achieved an excellent multi-core score of 17299/17370, which puts it 3 percent ahead of the Ryzen 9 5950X and 57 percent ahead of the previous generation flagship 8-core Intel i9-11900K.

These leaked benchmarks demonstracertainly reveal the potential of Intel's next 12th Generation Core series, which is slated to be released in November. Intel has not commented on the leak.
