EVGA Shows FTW and SuperClocked GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Graphics Cards
And they do look good. EVGA will be releasing three customized models of the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti in the form of the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti FTW3, the GTX 1080 Ti SC2 and finally the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti SC Black Edition.
Two out of the three (FTW3 and SC2) will be fitted with their sensor driven iCX Technology solution and come with a healthy dosis of RGB LED bling. The also are fitted two a three fan cooler. The Geforce GTX 1080 Ti is the new high-end product that features 3584 CUDA Cores, 224 Texture Units, a 352-bit memory controller and 11 GB of GDDR5X memory. The card should be faster than a reference Titan X and 30% faster compared to a GTX 1080.The card has the same "GP102" GPU as the TITAN X Pascal, the GTX 1080 Ti but was slighty cut-down. Interesting is the 352-bit with GDDR5X memory interface, this was not expected. This translates to 11 memory chips on the card which run at 11 GHz (GDDR5X-effective), the memory bandwidth is 484 GB/s.
- TBDMHz Base Clock
- TBDMHz Boost Clock
- TBDGT/s Texture Fill Rate
- 11264MB GDDR5X Memory
- 11000MHz Memory Clock
- 484GB/s Memory Bandwidth
I have not been able to spot the final clock frequencies they will be applying to the cards, but they will not be cheap. The Founders Editions (reference cards) already cost 699 USD. EVGA did not give an ETA on availability.

It's very simple ..
Nvidia wants to be first with their cards, shortly after come the other ones based on the reference card. These are easy to make since it's the same design.
Then comes the custom cards, and these differ a lot from the reference cards in terms of cooling, clock speeds and just general layout. It takes time to make these. Some other brands will have their custom cards out in a week or two which I think is too early. Even if I want them to be quick about it.
EVGA has made the mistake before to not test their cards properly (1080) and thus overheating and getting really bad PR. I understand why they want to take their time and make sure it's a really good card.

Nice looking cards but according to one of the EVGA reps who posts on OCUK forums they won't be available until May.
