EVGA launches GTX 1080 Ti K|NGP|N Hydro Copper
EVGA released their GeForce GTX 1080 Ti K|NGP|N Hydro Copper, the 1250 USD unit needs to be liquid cooled but does guarantee run at a dynamic clock of 2025 MHz.
Now, most card will already run in that range when you tweak it a bit, so whether or not you find the extra cash to applicable, it totally up to you of course. The card has been fitted with 9 thermal sensors and a full cover backplate. The PCB shows a 10+3 power phase fed by two 8-pin power connectors. Note, these power connectors are unfortunately located at the rear of the card, a bit weird.
The card defaults to clocks of a 1582 MHz core, 1695 MHz GPU Boost, and 11.00 GHz (GDDR5X data-rate effective) memory clocks. Being liquid cooled, the card fits a single-slot I/O design and includes a bracket for that, Connectivity wise you get three mini-DisplayPorts (yes correct mini), HDMI and a DVI port(s). You can pick one up today for $1249,- USD.

But...WHY 1250$ ?! This is insanely much, you could get a titan Xp for this amount or buy 2 1080 Ti cards, if you want pure performance.

I bought a reference for 600 USD + EK block for 100, 700USD and it runs higher than kingpins guaranteed clocks.
Pretty insane price.
