Elecom Launches Wi-Fi 6 Router with Simple Line Settings and Easy Moving Function for Seamless Internet Connection
Asia based Elecom has announced the release of their latest Wi-Fi 6 router, the WRC-X1500GS-B, which can be connected using a LAN cable. One of the notable features of this router is its "Simple Line Settings" capability, which enables users to connect to the internet by simply plugging a LAN cable into the INTERNET port.
Additionally, it comes equipped with an "easy move function," which copies the Wi-Fi connection information of the current router and transfers it to the new one. Other features of the router include "band steering," which automatically selects and connects to a more comfortable band, "beam forming Z," which concentrates and transmits radio waves to the child device, and "security Wi-Fi," which reduces the risk of virus infection between terminals. It is also equipped with a communication disconnection function known as Fi.
The router has a maximum transfer speed of 1,201 Mbps in the 5 GHz band and 300 Mbps in the 2.4 GHz band. The encryption function includes WPA3 Personal (AES), WPA2 Personal (AES), and WPA Personal (TKIP). It has a Gigabit WAN x 1, Gigabit LAN x 3 interface, and measures 36 mm in width, 132 mm in depth, and 164 mm in height. The weight of the device is approximately 320 g. The routers costs just 59 USD.
