EK to offer EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 FTW water blocks
EK Water Blocks is announcing Full-Cover water blocks for EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 FTW series graphics cards. The water blocks are now available for pre-order.
This water block directly cools the GPU, RAM as well as VRM (voltage regulation module) as water flows directly over these critical areas, thus allowing the graphics card and it’s VRM to remain stable under high overclocks. EK-FC1080 GTX FTW water block features a central inlet split-flow cooling engine design for best possible cooling performance, which also works flawlessly with reversed water flow without adversely affecting the cooling performance. Moreover, such design offers great hydraulic performance allowing this product to be used in liquid cooling systems using weaker water pumps.
The base of the block is made of nickel-plated electrolytic copper while the top is made of quality acrylic material or POM Acetal material (depending on the variant). The top material does not affect the block performance in any way. The acrylic (plexi) top also features two pre-drilled slots for 3mm LED diodes.
The water blocks and retention backplates will ship on Thursday, 15th of September, 2016! EK-FC1080 GTX FTW water blocks are also compatible with EVGA® GeForce GTX 1070 FTW graphics cards. In the table below you can see manufacturer suggested retail price (MSRP) with VAT included.

Thank for the info Hilbert. I cancelled my 2x Classified preorder since EK won't make any block for them, and I ordered 2 FTW instead. Good simple looking blocks, but those backplates are too expensive for my taste.
