DRiVe-X racing simulator costs just over 20000 USD

KDDI has announced that it will begin handling the virtual reality racing simulator DRiVe-X, and including tax, it'll be yours for 2,980,000 yen, which is almost 22000 USD.



DRiVe-X is a driving simulator created by I-Lock Co., Ltd. The set model released at this time is based on the "DRiVe-X," the most suited gaming PC developed in partnership with Intel Corporation, and a set of peripheral devices chosen by I-Lock. The "DRIVE-X code-F" racing simulator features SIMAGIC wheelbase Alpha-B, SIMAGIC formula steering GT4-C-CV1, and SIMAGIC 3 pedal P2000-L200. In addition, Lenovo's "Legion T770i" gaming PC, ASUS's "ROG Strix XG49VQ" 49-inch curved gaming liquid crystal display, HP's "Reverb G2 1N050AA # ABJ" VR headset, and Sony's "HT-S200F" sound bar were included.

The kit is compatible with titles likeĀ  iRacing, Assetto Corsa, Assetto Corsa Competizione, rFactor, rFactor 2, rFactor PRO, DiRT Rally, DiRT Rally 2.0, ProjectCars, Project CARS2, Live for Speed, F1 2021, F1 2020, Euro Truck Simulator 2 and KartKraft.

There are four color variations: graphite black glass flake, California blue glass flake, metallic red glass flake, and ultra white glass flake. The simulator has external dimensions of 79 cm in width, 147 cm in depth, 83.5 cm in height, and 132 kg in weight.
