Dolby Laboratories, a pioneer in immersive audio technology, has introduced a groundbreaking advancement known as Dolby Atmos FlexConnect. This innovation has been integrated into TCL's upcoming 2024 television lineup, marking the first application of this technology. This technology further incorporates intelligent sound optimization based on room layout and speaker arrangement, thus transforming any seating position into an optimal listening location. Complementing this innovation, TCL will also launch a range of wireless accessory speakers tailored to complement its forthcoming TV series featuring Dolby Atmos FlexConnect.

With the implementation of Dolby Atmos FlexConnect, the built-in speakers of compatible televisions can be seamlessly combined with wireless accessory speakers to generate a unified Atmos sound experience. This solution offers the freedom to position one or more wireless speakers anywhere within a room without the concern for precise placement. Moreover, the adaptability of this solution accommodates the incorporation of additional device types, allowing TCL and other manufacturers to creatively explore diverse device combinations and form factors to cater to consumer demands.

The system intelligently harmonizes each supplementary device with the TV's native speakers, thereby optimizing audio performance and presenting a tailored Dolby Atmos audio encounter within the household.
