Delid your CPU with the Delid Die Mate
Wanna replace that thermal insulation material inside your processor the easy way, and not with razor blades ? Well der8auer has designed THE easy solution for you. You place your CPU into a specially designed block, tighten the screws, turn the bottom screw until you hear a snap and back and boom, your CPU is delidded.
Afterwards remove the screws, replace the TIm and glue back the heatspreader. The tool will be available soon (exclusively) at caseking.de and will support Skylake, Haswell, DC, Ivy Bridge processors.
Simple, clever ... I like it. Watch the video.

Will def try and get one of these! I've delid two chips, chipped both DIEs one survived the other didn't, 3770K died
No doubt I'll be delidding 6700Ks at some point so I'll def need this!

If intel still soldered, this all wouldn't be an issue

Great idea! Such a simple idea, too! I've successfully (thankfully) delidded three CPUs thus far and, though it gets "easier" each time, it's still (for me) a nerve wracking job. I'm defintely going to grab one or two of these as soon as possible.

Hehe nice, no guarantee to not damage your CPU anyway
But at least people have another option now, believe it or not, not everybody got a vice at home.
