Deepcool Refreshes GAMMAX X 400 towards EX with improvements and dual fans
It has been a while since this budget cooler series had an update. Deepcool revisited the GAMMAX X 400 towards an EX version, this round not interfering with DIMM module height and it now has dual fans.
As a 120mm cooler, GAMMAXX 400 EX incorporates a total of 56 dissipation fins. Compared to single fan models, its total surface areas is increased by 20%, making full use of the airflow generated by its twin fan design. Two TF120 high-performance PWM fans are included, doubling the coolness. GAMMAXX 400 EX comes with 4 high high-performance sintered copper heat pipes, each specifically positioned to instantly dissipate CPU heat.
So this is an upgraded model of the "GAMMAX X 400" series . In addition to the dual fan configuration, the heat dissipation area is also improved by about 20% due to the higher density of the cooling fins. Cooling performance is improved by mounting a high-performance "sintered copper heat pipe" by the direct touch method. GAMMAXX400EX_1024x768d The diameter of the heat pipe is 6 mm, the rotation speed of the fan is 500-1,500 rpm ± 10%, the air volume is 52 CFM, the static pressure is 2.07 mmAq, the noise level is 27.6 dBA, and the bearing is a hydro bearing. The fan size is width 120 mm, height 120 mm, thickness 25 mm, heat sink size is width 127 mm, height 155 mm, thickness 50 mm, body size is width 129 mm, thickness 103 mm, height 157.5 mm, weight 930 g.
Supported platforms are Intel LGA1151 / 1150/1155/1366, AMD Socket AM4 / AM3 + / AM3 / AM2 + / AM2 / FM2 + / FM2 / FM1.
We expect the price to sit in the 39 USD range. You can read more information here.

I just had a look at their website to make sense of the number of different Gammaxx coolers they sell (there appear to be 13 - I think ...), but it doesnt help so I made my own conclusion.
They are nearly all based around the same basic heatsink and vary between 1 or 2 fans + different styles.
This doesnt cover all the other sinks they sell that arent under the Gammaxx moniker
Theres no way to do a quick model breakdown, you have to open every page individually and click the spec link, then work it out for yourself.
They arent helping themselves.

I always prefer a "push-pull" 2 fan CPU cooler. And this one looks great! Thanks for posting this Hilbert.
