Cool Master Shows Loads of Cooling - Incl MasterLiquid AIO with two pumps

Cool Master Shows Loads of Cooling - Incl MasterLiquid AIO with two pumps

Cooler Master has been busy at Computex, Coolers in this news item. Most eye-catching is the new MasterLiquid series AIO water coolers with a dual pump model as well as a new MasterLiquid series with vortex effect reservoir.

By using two pumps in the AIO Cooler Master hopes to increase the coolant throughput and the pressure on the cooling block. This would cause faster dissipation of the CPU heat than with traditional coolers. At least that is the idea, of course, you need to be able to draw away from that heat fast enough in the radiator and the faster is passes the more surface area or fan airflow you'll need (which often is the bigger bottleneck). But it's an interesting idea for sure. A price and release date is TBA.

In the photos below you're going to spot a MasterLiquid Maker 240 New Edition as well, here the coolant reservoir has been altered with what I can only describe as a bit of a vortex design. In combo with RGB lighting, it will bring an extra effect. The new MasterLiquid Maker 240 would be released in October for a price in the US between 300 and 350 dollars.

The MasterLiquid ML240P Mirage is a more conventional LCS. Eight RGB LEDs have been placed in the region of it. The price on release in June would be 140 dollars. Cooler Master will also launch their MasterAir Maker 3DVVC. Instead of conventional heat pipes, this cooler has a U-shaped vapor chamber with aluminum fins on both sides and two 140 mm fans. Released in December it would cost 130 dollars.

Cooler Master will release a MasterAir G200P and G400P for small form factor systems. The G200P will get two integrated heat pipes with a height of 40 mm and the G400P with four heat pipes measures 58 mm in height. Both models come with a 92mm fan and should see a launch in August for roughly 40 USD.
There's more to see, have a peek at the photos below.

Not saying quality wont be on the level of EKs stuff, but i doubt it.
And once i look at lower priced coolers, corsair at least covers any part that gets damaged if the AIO fails.

The vortex effect is pretty cool, but seriously... this will accomplish nothing for cooling performance, especially in an AIO of that size. Maybe when you have one of those RotM builds with 3x giant radiators, a 2nd pump might yield some better results, and that's only after the system has been under full load for several hours.
