Activision announced that Call of Duty Warzone surpassed the 100 million player barrier across all platforms, and that is quite the number reflecting that the title came out in March 2020.

It took a little over a year for Infinity Ward and Raven to reach that milestone. It's worth noting that the game's previous record was in August 2020, when the studio announced that Warzone had surpassed 75 million players.

Yesterday 4/21 Call of Duty Warzone came to an end, well, actually the game is not going to end, but it will see big changes. Activision announced that the only map of its Battle Royale will see a major change, Verdansk, which until now has been suffering from a zombie infestation, spreading throughout the second season. Several of the Verdansk areas will receive a new design related to the Cold War period, such as the airport, the television station and the city center. Others will undergo major changes, such as the stadium, which is still under construction, and an aqueduct that will replace the current dam.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available on PC (via Battle.Net), Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. Battle Royale Season 3 will begin today, April 22, the day after an event, with the arrival of the new version of Verdansk and other new features to the game.
