Awkward: Edge fails during demo at Microsoft Ignite conference
A bit of an awkward yet funny moment for Microsoft, at the Microsoft Ignite conference they where presenting Azure infrastructure and cloud platforms with Microsoft Edge. Edge however fails, so how did they fix it? The install and load up Chrome.
The demonstration shows them migrating applications and data to Microsoft’s cloud and then all of the sudden the browser becomes unresponsive. Michael Leworthy had no other choice but using Windows 10’s built-in Bing search to download Chrome, reports myce.
(Video of demo – fails around 37:15)
The audience responded with some giggling. He didn’t forget to uncheck the ‘Help make Google Chrome better by automatically sending usage and crash reports to Google’ while he said, “and we’re not going to help make Google better”. Which resulted in applause from the audience.
When Chrome was installed and running, the rest of his demonstration went fine.

iPhone X had an issue with the faceID. It happens, that's why there are backups.
