ASUS releases 3 models frameless LCD monitors with wide viewing angle IPS panel
ASUS will begin handling three IPS liquid crystal monitors with frameless designs. They are compatible with VESA mounters and include TÜV Rheinland certified blue light reduction and flicker-free eye care features. Display synchronization technology has a built-in 2Wx2 stereo speaker and enables Adaptive-Sync.
The "VP32UQ" is a 31.5-inch model with 4K resolution. The key parameters are as follows: brightness 350 cd/m2, contrast ratio 1,000: 1, display color 1,073.7 million colors, response speed 4 ms, horizontal / vertical viewing angle 178 °, color gamut sRGB 100 percent, high dynamic range adheres to HDR10. HDMI 2.0x1, DisplayPort 1.2x1, and 3.5mm stereo mini jack x 1 are the interfaces. The tilt adjustment range is -5 to 8 degrees, and the exterior measurements are width 714.6 mm, depth 201.8 mm, height 485.7 mm, and weight 7.82 kg.

The "VP229HV" model has a 21.5-inch display and supports full HD resolution. The key features are as follows: brightness 250 cd/m2, contrast ratio 1,000: 1, display color 16.7 million colors, response speed 1 ms, and horizontal / vertical viewing angle 178 °. HDMI 1.4 x 2, 3.5 mm stereo mini jack x 1 are the interface connectors. The tilt adjustment range is -5 to 23 degrees, and the exterior measurements are width 490 mm, depth 199 mm, height 363 mm, and weight 2.9 kg.

You know they do not have high refresh rate when they do not mention it all and on marketing they mention wide angle viewing ..yeah we know is IPS wide viewing angles where a feature in 2010 now is a standard !

I wish manufacturers would stop calling monitors frameless when they aren't. They may make the bezel as thin as they like, it is still there. True framelessness has so far only been achieved in smartphones, and I think even there not an all sides.
