ASUS introduces AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT series of graphics cards

ASUS introduces AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT series of graphics cards

High-performance graphics cards with optimal cooling are announced from ASUS, including the ROG Strix and ASUS Dual based on AMD the Radeon RX 6600 XT.

The latest ROG Strix and ASUS Dual AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT graphics cards unleash the next generation of features for extremely high performance in today's competitive games and smooth display in AAA titles.

ROG Strix and AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT: Powerful performance and bold style
The ROG Strix AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT graphics card combines the performance of the AMD RDNA 2 gaming architecture with the innovation of ROG. It has four heat pipes and a large base plate to draw heat away from the GPU chip and GDDR6 memory. These heat pipes run through a heat sink with a large surface area, which enables rapid heat exchange, which means that low temperatures and the highest possible clock rates are achieved.

Two fans with the latest Axial-Tech design move a lot of air through the heat sink without increasing the noise level. This perfect balance is achieved through more fan blades, smaller fan hubs, a curved fan blade design and notched locking rings that optimize the airflow through the heat sink and direct the air quietly to where it is needed.

Enthusiasts can further optimize the performance with two different fan and power profiles by using the integrated dual BIOS switch. The performance mode offers higher airflow, the highest standard clock rates and the best overclocking potential. The quiet mode enables a less aggressive fan curve with consistently high performance. A 0 dB mode in both profiles allows the fans to stop completely when idling in order to keep the noise level of the system as low as possible when no game is running.

Like all ROG models, the ROG Strix AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT graphics card is designed to look just as good as its performance. Bold, angular accents with embossed ROG cyber text extend over the cooler housing, and a continuous aluminum backplate brings out even more ROG design. An Aura RGB accent on the left edge of the card lets the addressable RGB LEDs shine through underneath. Thanks to Aura Sync support, users can easily coordinate their favorite colors and lighting effects with all other compatible devices in their setup.

ASUS Dual and AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT: Pure Performance
The ASUS Dual AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT graphics card is ideal for users who prefer performance in an inconspicuous design. Like its ROG Strix relative, the card uses two Axial-Tech fans to direct air through a large surface area heat sink. The fans can be adjusted to turn off when the graphics card is idle, and each fan is equipped with two ball bearings to ensure long life.

The ASUS Dual AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT graphics card has a sophisticated case design that attracts attention with black and silver accents, contrasting textures and geometric shapes. A continuous aluminum backplate reinforces the circuit board underneath and also adds an aesthetic element with sophisticated details. Auto-Extreme assembly technology, which is used in all ASUS graphics cards, ensures that every component under the cover and the backplate is precisely placed and neatly soldered to ensure a long service life and reliable operation.

Availability
The ASUS dual and ROG graphics cards of the AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT series will be available in stores from August 11, 2021.
