ASUS Announces ROG Prime and TUF Z370 Series Motherboards

New CPUs require new motherboards, ASUS has developed a deep lineup to meet different needs. The diverse cast of 15 models covers a range of priorities, budgets, and form factors spanning Republic of Gamers (ROG), Prime and TUF Gaming motherboards tailored for distinct audiences.

The new range includes the highly anticipated next-generation ROG Maximus X motherboards with all the enhancements that gamers and performance enthusiasts crave. Also included in the lineup are the latest ROG Strix motherboards with stylish aesthetics and performance to match, the ASUS Prime series for everyday customization and tuning, and the all-new ASUS TUF Gaming boards with and a focus on ease of use at an affordable price point. All boards are loaded with exclusive technologies to enable users to extract every ounce of performance from Intel’s latest CPUs.

Last week I took some photos at a presentation from ASUS of the new Z370 motherboards. The photos include an overview of the more dominant motherboard to be relaseased by ASUS for the Z370 platform. More info next week. Have a peek at them below, unfortunately I did not bring a DSLR thus these are smartphone photos only but hey that adds a certain flair as well I guess ;-)

Hmm, I am noting a distinct lack of Micro-ATX boards for Z370. I think MSI is the only one who has officially announced one, although ASUS apparently has a Stirx one in the works for later release. Just when I set myself up with a Phanteks Mini-XL DS rig to combine my server and main rig into one box. :(

Nice nice I am waiting to see some Benchmarks on CL to see how this turns out,I like the last 2 boards in the lineup plus the 1st one as a budget board. Great time to build a new system so many options now!
