During a livestream the name of the next Assassin's Creed was made public, Assassin's Creed Valhalla. The setting of the game is clearly recognizable, a Viking scenario is coming.

At exactly 10:00 p.m. German time, Ubisoft ended the live stream with the unveiling of the official logo and game title. Before the big unveiling took place, the Australian artist BossLogic worked in the stream for around eight hours to complete his artwork, which contains numerous details about the upcoming game :

  • Valhalla, as the name suggests, will play in a Viking setting.
  • In addition to the cold north, we will probably also be able to visit England at the time of the Viking invasions.
  • We take on the role of a full-bearded Viking assassin holding a mighty two-handed ax in the artwork.
  • Instead of an eagle, our character in AC: Valhalla could be accompanied by a raven that scouts out our enemies.

In an Livestream that went on forever, an artist was brushing around on the setting of the new Assassin's Creed - for over five hours. The title Assassin's Creed Valhalla is now set. In Nordic mythology, Valhalla is the resting place of fighters who died in battle and who have proven to be brave. Viking-like ships can also be seen in the teaser.
Updated: launch trailer now has been released as well, added.
