Asrock launches a 34-inch curved gaming monitor with integrated Wi-Fi antenna
Asrock's 34-inch PG34WQ15R2B is the world's first gaming monitor with a built-in Wi-Fi antenna. Designed for those who want a new screen and a better wireless signal. Asrock has entered the gaming monitor market.
The VESA DisplayHDR 400-certified PG34WQ15R2B has a 3440 x 1440 resolution on its curved (1500R) VA LCD screen, a 165Hz variable refresh rate, AMD FreeSync Premium, and 550 nits brightness. The monitor's built-in Wi-Fi antenna may appeal to certain gamers in particular. According to Asrock, this is the first gaming monitor with this capability, which connects to a PC to raise the maximum strength of the wireless signal by up to 7 dBi, improving the online gaming experience.
Asrock points out that the antenna is intended for PCs that are placed under desks, and that furniture often interferes with the transmission. Those whose computers are placed on top of desks or utilize high-end Wi-Fi (or Ethernet, obviously) adapters will see little, if any, advantage. The remainder of the display has 115% sRGB color gamut coverage and 91% DCI-P3 space coverage, an MPRT response time of 1ms, and a contrast ratio of 3000:1. It contains some HDMI 1.4, two HDMI 2.0 inputs (but no HDMI 2.1), two 2 W speakers, and a 3.5 mm connector. It is already available in the United States for USD 430.
The PG27FF1A is another monitor sports a 27-inch flat IPS screen (1920 x 1080). It has some of the same characteristics as its bigger sibling, such as a 165Hz refresh rate, FreeSync Premium, twin speakers, and a 1ms MPRT reaction time, but no built-in antenna. Color gamut coverage is significantly greater (94% DCI-P3/123% sRGB), brightness is 250 nits, and DisplayPort 1.2 rather than 1.4 is included. This smaller monitor costs $190 in the United States.

Doubt using some crappy cheap built in wifi antenna is gonna improve your connection much compared to a decent router/wifi card.
