ASRock Desk Meet series, a small barebone kit with a capacity of 8 liters

ASRock unveiled the Desk Meet barebone kit series, which features an 8-liter compact enclosure. Two variants are available: the "Desk Meet B660" for LGA1700 and the "Desk Meet X300" for Socket AM4.



Both have enhanced cable management and ventilation within the chassis by utilizing a specialized Mini-ITX motherboard. As with the company's successful "Desk Mini" barebone kit series, even novices may simply install it. The "Desk Meet B660" is equipped with an Intel B660 chipset, DDR4 x4 (maximum 128GB) memory slots, SATA3.0 (6Gbps) x3, and Hyper M.2 x 2 extension. The slot supports PCI-Express4.0 (x16) x1, M.2 2230 x 1 (for the WLAN module), the graphics card measures 200mm in length, and the CPU cooler can reach a height of 54mm.

The "Desk Meet X300" is equipped with an AMD X300 chipset, DDR4x4 (maximum 128GB) memory slot, SATA3.0 (6Gbps) x2, and Ultra M.2x1 extension port. It features PCI-Express 3.0 (x16) x1, M.2 2230 x 1 (for the WLAN module), a 200mm-long graphics card, and a CPU cooling that can reach a height of 54mm.

On the front, there are headset jacks x1, USB3.2 Gen.1 Type-C jacks x1, USB3.2 Gen.1 Type-A jacks x2, and USB2.0 Type-A jacks x2. The 500W (550W peak) power supply unit is 80 PLUS BRONZE certified, and its external dimensions are 168mm wide, 219.3mm deep, and 218.3mm tall.
