AMD 4000 series APUs Spotted For Sale in Grey Market

When AMD released their Ryzen 400G series APUs, they made it clear it's to be intended for OEM and system builders only. Well, in Asia they already bought a bunch in bulk somehow, and these are now entering the grey market, meaning you can spot them at sites like Ebay.

In specific in Thailand they seem to have managed to get their hands on a number of bulk packages. Now the APUs are sold through Ebay and Autonetand even enter sales channels. The Ryzen 3 Pro 4350G costs €160. The Ryzen 5 Pro 4650G and the Ryzen 7 Pro 4750G cost €215 and €339. And in USD:

  • AMD Ryzen 3 PRO 4350G = 5,850 (~$185)
  • AMD Ryzen 5 PRO 4650G = 7,990 (~$255)
  • AMD Ryzen  7 PRO 4750G = 12,500 (~$395)

On eBay the prices are going up quickly now that this is going to be mentioned on media/websites. It's not really recommended to hunt own these APUs even if it was for Warranty alone. We're sure AMD will launch them into detail at better prices in a matter of weeks.

Yes, yes. Otherwise known as "GM" or "Grey Market" is a less controversial and politically acceptable term to describe the Asian underground technological market where anything goes. ;) Recent boycotting of the term Black Market by BLM activists in the region among Antifa groups & other prominent far-left noteworthy Asian activists has led to the sudden use of "Grey Market" to distinguish the selling of genuine technology in an unapproved forum. More to come.

Wtf are you talking about. Grey market has been a thing since the 80s. It's not black market unless it's straight up illegal.
