Acer Launches C720 Chromebook with Intel Core i3 Processor
Acer launches an industry's first Chromebook model using a 4th Generation Intel Core i3 processor. The award-winning Acer C720 Chromebook is now available in two models powered by the Intel Core i3 processor to provide customers even faster and more responsive performance for multi-tasking, while also providing long battery life of up to 8.5 hours.
These new Chromebooks expand Acer's line that has made the company the leading provider of Chromebooks with an impressive 46.7 percent market share in this category.

The Acer C720 Chromebook will be available in two models with a 4th Generation Intel Core i3-40005U processor (1.7 GHz, 3 MB L3 cache). The Acer C720-3404 will have 4 GB of memory and will be priced at $379.99, while the Acer C720-3871 will have 2 GB of memory and will be priced at $349.99. They will be available this month at retailers in North America.
The additional boost in performance and battery life will be useful to families, students and the growing number of customers who enjoy the Google ecosystem and growing assortment of Chrome apps for school, work and entertainment. Like other Acer C720 models, the new C720-3404 and C720-3871 will have fast 32 GB Solid State Drive that boots up in less than 7 seconds and resumes nearly instantly from sleep mode.

Chrome OS is updated regularly, so customers can enjoy the latest features including multiple layers of security such as data encryption and verified boot that defend the Acer C720 Chromebook against online threats, malware and viruses. The new Acer C720 models have a vibrant 11.6-inch ComfyView HD display with a 1366x768 resolution for crisp, clear images.
