SLI is little more than a gimmick at this point. Give it up and go with single card.

I don't know a time when SLI was ever anything more than a gimmick. But to be fair, nvidia is in the business of selling graphics cards. They need to pull reasons out of their ass to try and justify buying two instead of one.

It only took most users 10 years to figure out how useless it is. Lmao.

3D Vision, Sli, Game Works, Shield....typically anything nvidia tries to do outside of directly making a video card, fails. Minus Tesla ...which isn't a success, but being fair, it's too early to be labeled anything yet.

No one gets it. Everything is so stagnant in gaming because everything is so over saturated.

The days of having to only pick from a ti 4200, 4400 or 4600 were the best days for PC gamers. Developers didn't have to figure out 15,000 different configurations.

Then came the FX series and they haven't looked back. 6 versions of a card with 6 random memory configurations and 6 different frequencies for each memory configuration ...now lets add 2 cards per system and really **** with everything.

I swear, sometimes I think vendors are purposely trying to kill their long-term plans. If that made any sort of business sense ..
