Philips announced their 24-inch 245B1 LCD monitor. This IPS model features a quad HD resolution (2560x1440), a Power Sensor to save up to 70% energy costs and HDMI connectivity. The 245B1 provides built-in stereo speakers and a variety of connections, including DisplayPort 1.2, HDMI 1.4, USB 3.2 and HDCP.

The rumor mill can't stop the chatter about NVIDIA's series 3000 cards, and that will probably stay that way until announced. Today yet another twitter user posted a chart, with names and specifications. The interesting part, however, is that the tweet originates from chiakokhua, who you might remember as "Retired engineer".

AMD Confirms ZEN3 and RDNA2 by Late-2020 on Twitter

A bit unusual from AMD, but ZEN3 and RDNA2 based technologies will be released late 2020, AMD confirmed this on twitter. Earlier on a roadmap confirmed that the design phase of Zen 3 is complete and that will be a "7 nm+" process refresh.

AMD Reports First Quarter 2020 Financial Results (record quarter sales)

AMD shares record first-quarter sales in the first three months of this year. Compared to the same time frame last year, sales increased 40% to $ 1.79 billion. The gross margin generated net sales of $162 million from revenues, with a gross profit margin of 46%. According to AMD, the Ryzen processors are a big part of the increased sales and profits.
