The folks over at MSI have uncovered its latest notebooks, interestingly enough ahead of Computex. Predominantly it is targeted at gaming, the new models come with discrete graphics and features geared toward PC gamers. The 17.3-inch MSI GT70 Dragon Edition 2 is the flagship model, which sports all the latest hardware. It will come with what we think is Intel's upcoming Haswell processor, due to be announced at Computex 2013 in Taiwan. It is also equipped with the latest Nvidia GeForce GTX780M, which according to MSI, gives it a 3DMark Vantage score of 36,000.

HP shows off the ENVY Rove20, a new 20" All-in-One PC with a built-in battery that promises four hours of battery life. Innodisk shows off the nanoSSD, a finger-tip sized SATA µSSD that measures just 16mm x 20mm x 2mm (W x L x H). MSI has updated versions of its GX60 and GX70 laptops with AMD's new Richland A10-5750M APU. Both models feature a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution, the GX70 is a 17.3" model with AMD Radeon HD 8970M graphics card, while the GX60 is a 15.6" laptop with AMD Radeon HD 7970M graphics. Western Digital sends word that it is gonna demonstrate its 5mm thin solid state hybrid drives and hard disk drives at Computex: WD, announced that it will demonstrate its solid state hybrid drives (SSHD) and 5 mm ultra-slim hard drive technologies.

Check out this demonstration of Qualcomm's upcoming Mirasol displays at the SID Display Week 2013 expo. We got a look at a previously announced 1.5-inch panel embedded on the top of an "always-on" smartphone and on the face of a smartwatch. Though a rep took care to emphasize that these were just mockups, he said the screen will soon show up in some third-party devices.

Sharp Japan has announced two new models to its Aquos UD1 range of LCD TV's. The mammoth 70 and 60 inch TV's will come with a 4K panel supporting a resolution of (3,840 x 2,160 pixels). Gigabyte will be coming out with the GA-Z87N-WiFi motherboard based on the Intel Z87 chipset! This board is very similar to the Gigabyte GA-Z77N-WIFI that came late to the market for Intel Z77 boards. This motherboard has two DDR3 memory slots, four SATA 6Gbps slots, a single PCI Express x16 slot and one PCIe Mini socket for a Wi-Fi model or maybe a small notebook style SSD. Fractal Design announced it has added a white version of its Node 304 Mini-ITX case. The Node 304 features a unique modular interior for outstanding configurability.
