The Spanish website El Chapuzas Informatico, responsible for earlier leaks, just shared what seems to be the full line-up of AMD's pending Ryzen 2000-series processors. The new Zen+ / Ryzen 2000 updates entail four new processors at its launch in April.

First off, the slides look very real, I initially had no reason to doubt the validity of them. I know in this day and age anything can be photoshopped or reproduced, but these look to be the real deal. However, there is a curiosity in the slides. Look at the left side NDA embargo date in some of the slides.

That stated and shown, it is not unusual for AMD to re-use slides, they often show an old embargo date etc. We've seen it in the past as well. It does raise some concern. However, the detail in the slides are very hard to fake, and do look in-house AMD. That said, we'll post as is and assume they still are the real deal; the new 12nm processors, developed under codename Pinnacle Ridge, show up and will be released as two six and two quad-core processors.

The flagship processor would be the Ryzen 7 2700X (and not 2800X), it is a processor with eight cores and sixteen threads (SMT) that will make use of an improved XFR 2, it's the 4.35 GHz as earlier discussed in another news item. For the 1700X this value was 3.9 GHz and thus that is a 450 MHz increase. The base clock speed is also 300 MHz higher than on the 1700X, not set at 3700 MHz. The TDP, however, is 10 watts higher with the newer processor. But I am sure most of you can live with that. A second 8-core processor would be the Ryzen 7 2700 (without the X), it will run at a maximum of 4.1 GHz and has a 3200 MHz base clock, the TDP remains the same.

When we move to the six-core parts, you will see two processors. The Ryzen 5 2600X will be a six-core part that gets a base clock of 3.6 GHz. The maximum clock speed that can be achieved by this processor would be 4.25 GHz (XFR2) XFR is extended frequency range, and given the right conditions (like temps and load), it'll boost to that maximum clock frequency.

Then there is a 199 USD Ryzen 5 2600, this puppy will see a 3.3 GHz base clock and a 3.9 GHz maximum clock speed. The TDP has remained the same at 65 watts. The processors are expected to launch in April. Source, El Chapuzas Informatico.

On the chipset side of things, AMD will release the X470 and B450 chipsets, based on AM4. The new X470 would be better optimized for high-speed memory and offer optimized VRM dan power management as well as offering support for XFR2.

Only one question remains, where's the Ryzen 7 2800X ? :-)
