BenQ has launched their HT8050, an Ulra HD - 4K UHD THX Certified Home Cinema Projector. The HT8050 comes with a THX certification demonstrating that can display the projector at cinema-quality. The unit has a very high contrast ratio of 50,000: 1 and can display of the entire Rec. 709-color spectrum to make it the ideal projector for home theater.
The HT8050 weighs in at just under 15 kilos and measures 47 by 56 by 22 centimeters. The lens can be zoomed, the maximum image size is a whopping 300 inches.

The maximum resolution is 3840x2160 pixels and the maximum brightness is 2200 lumens. The device is controlled via HDMI 2.0, VGA and Gigabit Ethernet. There is an accessory kit is available with a spare lamp, ceiling mount and anamorphic lens. The projector consumes just over 350 watts and should be available starting at the end of February 2017.
You'll need to dig deep into you wallet for this beast though, at $7999 it isn't cheap.
