Right, as always we start off with the packaging .. so you know what to look for in the stores. The box is clearly describing what you'll be purchasing. The card is equipped with 1 GB memory btw.

Here we have the MSI Radeon HD 5830 Twin Frozr II card we'll test today. As you can see, that is a great looking card alright. Aesthetically it really is a gorgeous card to look at.

When we look at the bundle we see included the graphics card, a manual, driver CD with Afterburner overclock software, two external power cables and a DVI to D-SUB adapter.

So as you can see, here we have the R5830 Twin Frozr II. Quite a card to look at, really. The Twin Frozr II Thermal Design cooler has Dual 8CM PWM Fans and four Heatpipes. The cooling design can be frowned up as the residual heat is dumped inside the system and not exhausted.
Today we test the MSI R5830 Twin Frozr II . This product is based on the new Radeon HD 5830. MSI again made sure that their version needed to be interesting, so they designed a custom PCB, used durable quality components and then added their latest Twin FRoZr II cooler. The end result is a product that looks just awesome, performs at baseline level, but overclocks just really well. Have a peek at what we test today, and then head on over to the article where we'll look at the MSI R 5870 Twin FroZR II edition graphics card.
