Patriot Stellar Boost XT and Stellar Lite Flash Drives

Patriot today announces two new additions to its Stellar USB On-The-Go (OTG) memory storage ecosystem, the Stellar Boost XT and Stellar Lite. With the focus on ultra-portability, the Stellar Boost XT and Stellar Lite bring to market more options for those looking for USB OTG storage solutions for compatible Android and Windows mobile devices. 

The ever growing need for more and more storage on Android or Windows mobile devices has cause manufacturers to charge a premium for high capacity onboard storage in devices. The Patriot Stellar USB OTG product family is here to change that by making high capacity add on device storage both affordable and easy to use. As with the original Stellar drive from Patriot, The Stellar Boost XT and Stellar Lite feature a dual connector design that offers both MicroUSB and full sized USB connection options for use with mobile devices or your favorite PC or Mac platforms.

Stellar Boost XT

Perfect for those who take their tablets or smartphones everywhere they go, the Stellar Boost XT is an ultra-light ruggedized way to carry a full media or data collection. Its MicroUSB and USB 3.0 connectors provide an easy and fast way to transfer files between your Android or Windows device and computer. With the Stellar Boost XT, there's no loss of performance with portability. The full sized USB 3.0 connector provides up-to 110 MB/s transfer speeds for quickly moving files from a laptops or PC. The Stellar Boost XT is designed rugged with rubberized caps and body that's built to withstand bumps and drops from heavy everyday use.

Stellar Lite
Measuring in at less than 28 mm long, the Stellar Lite is also an excellent ultra-light way to carry a full media or data collection for use with Android 4.0 or Windows devices, as well as other computing devices. The Stellar Lite is the perfect budget way to add additional storage and provides excellent USB 2.0 transfer speeds of up-to 30 MB/s to quickly move files to and from a device, laptops, or PC. With its all aluminum body, the Stellar Lite offers additional protection from the wear and tear from everyday use to keep your data safe.

The Stellar Lite will also ship in May, 2014 and will be available for an MSRP of $9.99 for 8 GB, $14.99 for 16 GB, $24.99 for 32 GB, and $39.99 for 64 GB.
