Windows Task Manager To get NPU Monitoring with AMD Ryzen 8040 Series

The next update for the Windows Task Manager will include features to monitor the performance of Neural Processing Units (NPUs) present in AMD's Ryzen 8040 Series mobile processors. This enhancement responds to the increasing use of artificial intelligence (AI) in computing and the need for tools to track the performance of specialized hardware like NPUs. These units, also known as integrated or on-die AI engines, help offload AI tasks from the central processing unit (CPU) or graphics processing unit (GPU), potentially extending battery life in mobile devices.
