ViewSonic has released a new monitor that can be spotted under the tag VX4380, this Ultra HD display comes with an 42" 60 Hz IPS panel. The monitor has a specified 1100:1 static contrast ratio, 178°/178° (horizontal/vertical) viewing angles.
The monitor features a 42.51” IPS-type panel with 3840 x 2160 (‘4K’ UHD) and supports 10-bit color by way of 8-bit + FRC dithering. Viewsonic specifies a 12ms grey to grey response time and 350 cd/m2 brightness. Monitor ports include 2 HDMI 2.0 ports, DP 1.2, MiniDP 1.2, DP 1.2 output, 4 USB 3.0 ports (1 with BC 1.2 fast-charging) and a 3.5mm audio output. The monitor includes 2 x 7W speakers and can be VESA-mounted with the 200 x 200mm VESA holes.
Pricing is expected to be at the 900 USD marker.
