Thermalright is working on a new processor cooling solution called the Archon SB-E X2. The product is heatpipe based and aimed at high-wattage solutions, meaning high performance and overclocked processors like Sandy Bridge E six-core processors. The dimensions of the new cooler will be 155 (L) x 106 (W) x 170 (H) mm.
The all cooper base will get a mirror finish connected to its eight 6 mm heatpipes.
To cool down the impressive looking unit two TY-141 PWM 900 ~1,300 RPM fans are used with a DBA volume pressure rating of just 21 DBa.
The Archon SB-E X2 series cooler will have support for the following platforms: Intel LGA 2011/1366/1155/1156/775 and AMD Socket FM1/AM3+/AM3/AM2+/AM2/939 processors.
Inside the package you'll also receive some Chill Factor3 thermal paste. The pricing and release date are to be announced.
