Sid Meier is currently working on Civilization Beyond Earth; a new Civilization game that will be the sequel - or rather a "what would happen after Civilization V" game - to Alpha Centauri. Sid Meier's Civilization Beyond Earth will feature 3 types of planets from lush vegetation to airy decaying worlds. Players will start with an Outpost and their one and only goal will be to survive.
