Seby9123 Emerges as OC Champion in G.SKILL OC World Cup 2023

G.SKILL has declared Seby9123 from the United States the winner of the G.SKILL OC World Cup 2023 overclocking contest.

Seby9123 proved triumphant after navigating a host of demanding overclock benchmarks with an Intel Core i9-13900KS processor and ASUS ROG Z790 Apex motherboard, resulting in a $10,000 USD cash prize and the Kingpin Cooling ICON EXTREME V5 GPU LN2 pot.

The Live Qualifier Stage of the OC World Cup 2023 saw a strenuous three-day period of intense overclock benchmarks. From this stage, the finalists Seby9123, CENS, and Rauf advanced to the Grand Final Stage held on June 2. This final stage incorporated two maximum frequency challenges and three benchmarks, where the CPU clock speed was set at 7GHz. These demanding overclocking tests highlighted the capabilities of the Intel Core i9-13900K processor and the overclocking competencies displayed by each contestant in the Grand Final.

In the DDR5 frequency challenge, G.SKILL supplied the latest 24 GB DDR5 modules to the three finalists, with each contestant managing to exceed DDR5-10000 memory speed. Seby9123 accomplished the highest speed, hitting DDR5-11158. This feat reinforces the impressive overclock potential of G.SKILL's new 24 GB DDR5 memory modules.

G.SKILL applauds Seby9123 for securing the title of OC Champion and the accompanying $10,000 USD grand cash prize and TEK-9 ICON EXTREME V5 GPU LN2 pot. Seby9123 performed brilliantly under pressure, demonstrating exceptional overclocking abilities, delivering high benchmark scores within the set time limits on a live stage for a worldwide audience.
