Some new information about a PM1743 PCIe Gen 5E3.S 1T EDSFF SSD that is yet to be released in Q2 2022 has recently been given by Samsung. The PM1743 is an SSD from Samsung with a PCIe 5.0 x4 connection that can theoretically allow up to 15,7 GB/s.
The SSD comes along with 1 Drive Writes Per Day (DWPD) writing endurance and V6 TLC NAND memory. The drive has a single-width (111,5 mm/31,5 mm) form factor, a company E3.S 1T which is popular for use on servers and may be equipped with a TDP between 20 and 25 W. Samsung has given the SSD with a rudimentary mechanical drawing, but additional details will be available closer to publication.
