Samsung introduced a 4TB model to its T7 Portable SSD series, which supports USB 3.2 Gen.2 interface. The T7 series, known for its compact size and robust performance, now extends its storage capacity options by adding a 4TB model, complementing the existing 1TB and 2TB versions. This expansion caters to users needing higher storage capacity without sacrificing portability or data transfer speeds. The Samsung Portable SSD T7 is notable for its high-speed data handling capabilities, with sequential read speeds up to 1,050 MB/s and write speeds up to 1,000 MB/s. It also supports AES 256-bit encryption, providing secure data encryption for sensitive information. Designed for durability, the SSD can withstand drops up to 2 meters and offers shock resistance of 1,500G at 0.5ms over three axes when not operating. Additionally, it features vibration resistance from 20 to 2,000 Hz at 20G during non-operational states.

Physically, the T7 model measures 57mm in width, 85mm in depth, and 8.0mm in height, and weighs just 72 grams, making it highly portable. Samsung backs this product with a three-year warranty, underscoring its commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. The pricing for the new 4TB model, alongside the existing capacities, has been set at an open market rate, with the 4TB model expected to sell for approximately $349 USD.
