Rumor: High-end Intel Arc Alchemist Video Cards will be released in May/June

Let me first state, nobody really knows.  Intel has stated that Arc graphics cards for desktop PCs would be available in the second quarter, but has not specified a precise timeframe.

Although no reason is given for the delay, it is thought that Intel is currently fine-tuning its drivers. The business most certainly does not want to taint its foray into the desktop GPU market with unoptimized drivers. They're also working on their super-resolution XeSS technology that will be used by Arc GPUs, although no updates have been given, except that they were working on some games, since Intel first confirmed it was working on this technology.

Various sources spoke of the delay in the release of Intel's graphics cards, at least the three high-performance models. These are the high-end variants based on the DG2-512 GPU, sometimes referred to as SOC1. At the moment, it is unknown how many SKUs will be launched, but we anticipate at least two models, the A780 and A580, although Intel has not verified these names. Arc Alchemist desktop graphics cards now come in five configurations, matching the number of mobile variations.
