Performance testing for these CPUs utilized CPU-z and Cinebench R23 benchmarks, with stress tests conducted using AIDA64’s “CPU FPU” benchmark. The Core i3-14100 achieved a maximum all-core frequency of 4.5 GHz at 68.75 W, whereas the Core i5-14400 reached 4.10 GHz (E-Core at 3.5 GHz) with a TDP of 84.75 W. The observed 200 MHz increase in speed yields marginal performance enhancements compared to the 13th generation models. It is reported that Intel plans to officially launch these processors on January 8, following an announcement at CES 2024. Availability is expected on the same day.
