Without any noise Nvidia has launched a new mobile GPU, the GeForce GTX 965M for laptops. The GTX 965M is actually based upon a Maxwell GM204 GPU, yet with less shader processors compared to the 970M and 980M.
Compared to the 970M and 980M the one thing that is noticeable is that narrow 128-bit wide memory bus. Compression techniques should make up for that but it seems seems to be a new trend. The card should perform well though, against a GTX 870M the power consumption and perf should be really good.
It is unclear just yet how much memory the Mobile GPU will be opaired with, likely 2 or 4 GB. Thaty memory will run at 5 Gbps though / 924 MHz. The mobile processor will also get Boost 2.0 for dynamic clock frequencies.
